Mr. Assante lived in Naples, Italy where he worked at his father’s Pizzeria. Knowing no English, at 19 years old he came to Brooklyn, New York. Later on, he moved to New Jersey where he then opened “Mr. Assante’s Restaurant and Pizzeria” in 1970.

This family-owned business has been in Greenbrook, New Jersey for over 53 years. Mr. Assante has been very successful and a staple to this area with the help of his youngest son, Joey Assante. Mr. Assante’s dream is to continue his Restaurant and Pizzeria for many more years with the help of his son Joey, his wife Melissa and their three sons Joey, Gio and Lorenzo. The Assante family’s goal is to continue serving their delicious meals – made with the freshest ingredients – to their old and new customers. These customers become regulars and eventually grow a bond that makes them family for generations to come.
